A travelling social club
Come for the adventure, stay for the community
Many of our guests come for a day out and find themselves coming back again and again, for the laughter, the friendships and the promise of somewhere new.
What sets Silver Rose apart is that we bring people together. A coffee and a chat, a glass of wine, a shared meal or a sculpture walk: shared experiences are what turn a van full of strangers into friends.
I pride myself on the very personal level of service I offer my guests. Every person, on every tour, knows who I am and how we operate.Amanda, founder

Amanda is very caring and eager to make sure everyone has an enjoyable adventure. The adventures I have been on have all been exciting and interesting. I can really recommend them.
I have met some lovely people, made some fantastic friends, seen more of the beautiful New Zealand countryside and have had some amazing experiences.
Nothing is too much trouble and she goes the extra mile. Tours are well thought out and visited beforehand. Try a tour. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
My mum visited for six weeks and went on a few trips. She thoroughly enjoyed the tours and the company, and Amanda went out of her way to make her feel welcome.

Good to know
Your questions, answered
Who are Silver Rose tours for?
Retired people who'd like to get out, see new places and enjoy good company. Many guests come on their own and leave with new friends.
Where do you pick up from?
From your own front door. We're based on Auckland's North Shore and run separate monthly itineraries for the North Shore, Orewa and Red Beach, and the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
What's included in the price?
All entrance, tour and talk fees, morning tea, and lunch with a main meal and a drink of your choice. You can practically leave your wallet at home.
I'm not as mobile as I used to be. Can I still come?
Very likely, yes. Our van isn't a wheelchair-access vehicle, but if you can manage two low steps with a handrail and a helping hand, you're welcome. Walkers and walking sticks are fine, and we carry a wheelchair you can use.
How big are the groups?
Small. No more than 10 guests, so there's time to chat, and Amanda gets to know everyone.
How do I book and pay?
Call Amanda on 09 218 6254 or email amanda@silverrosetours.co.nz. A 50% deposit confirms your seat, and the balance is due 14 days before the trip.
Ready for your next adventure?
Have a look at this month's trips, then give Amanda a call to save your seat. Seats are limited and the popular trips fill quickly.
